Growing up, I had the fortune of inheriting books my father had used in high school. Old novels mostly. Then, starting middle school, I always found a way to get cheap books from the black market. Self-help spiritual bestsellers, cheesy psychology hacks, and then universally known classics of the 20th century. This, in turn, satisfied my endless curiosity about the world I lived in. It was in high school that I began writing and got my first story published. At one point, I even saw myself becoming a writer, motivated by my strictest high school teacher.
Though my time in the U.S. has certainly kept me from reading and writing as much as I used to, I would like to keep up with some weekly articles and personal notes.
